Prosight2 from Sigma Electronics

The Meter

Prosight2’s Meter unit is designed to be hand-held, with a large, easy to view graphical LCD display and two simple ‘soft’ buttons for menu-driven control. Measurements can be zeroed to enable relative angle measurements and the meter retains a history of the last four readings. It displays tilt in increments of 0.1°. Calibration of the accelerometer is fast and easy using an on-screen menu.

Both the Sender and the Meter units are powered from 6AA batteries on board the Meter and user-adjustable power management turns the unit off after a set time, providing much improved battery life over its predecessor. Batteries can be replaced without the need to dismantle the unit.
